The ChronoDB database project
2012-07-12/jpv
Welcome to the home page of the ChronoDB database project.
On July 12, 2012, the ChronoDB database was renamed
CrNiCKL because
of a problem with the name. Development continues under the new name.
The ChronoDB website will remain available for a while but without
any activity.
The goal of this project is to produce a data manager for large
sets of heterogeneous time series. ChronoDB runs on top of SQL or non-SQL databases.
A JDBC version is in use since a few months. A NoSQL version is in preparation;
it will probably use MongoDB, which supports "sharding".
The project is sponsored by Hauser Olsson GmbH.
